OUC partners with SAU

Old United Insurance Group is proud to announce their partnership with Specialty Aviation Underwriters, Inc. (effective July 1, 2009)

Ted Thomas, Owner of SAU said, "We are very excited to partner with Old United Insurance Group, (which is rated "A" VIII [Excellent] by AM Best). Both our companies bring great resources and expertise to the table, which will help us serve our clients better."

All underwriting and policy issuing functions of SAU will remain in their Birmingham, Alabama and Dallas, Texas offices. Accounting and billing responsibilities will now be serviced from OUC's headquarters in Merriam, KS.

"Our vast pool of resources will help Specialty Aviation Underwriters, Inc. expand its scope of business and better meet the changing aspects of the aviation insurance market place," said Dan Mattox, President of OUC. "We couldn't be happier!"

SAU has announced that all its Producers will be receiving letters outlining the changes.
